jaw expander

Posted by buckthorn on August 02, 2007 at 10:03:29:

Has anyone had their jaws expanded with a spring that is fastened to the outside of each tooth?

My dental sleep doc told me about it but my regular sleep doc seems clueless (as usual).

It's a spring wire that fastens to each tooth like braces and can even be used to straighten the teeth at the same time. It makes the mouth wider allowing more romm for the tongue.
