I am here to discuss what I have learned along with my concerns thus far and see if I am headed in the right direction as well as get some guidance from the "old timers" as you put it. This is a huge surgery (in my opinion) and I don't want to screw it up!

I really don't want to just have lower jaw surgery if it doesn't work. I will definitely discuss further the total MMA with my OS...he has already mentioned it but said like in passing along with "well we'll discuss it further as we get closer to surgery." Almost like he was afraid I didn't want to hear that at this time. I noticed Brandyleigh had originally planned on the BSSO, too, but then they decided on the MMA later because there was a much better chance of success.

apneamom, thank you for posting your blog. I have read the entire thing and learned a lot from it. My bite looks alot like yours right now. I look forward to watching your progress! Good luck!
