Oh boy, you've reached a milestone! Congratulations!! Although I never felt as if I had the flu during those earlier weeks of recover, I sure knew that I was "sick." It was as if something had been taken out of me. At 8 weeks post MMA I don't have that feeling at all; but I still know that there's more recovery in store. Trust me when I say that 8 weeks is light years away from 4 weeks. I agree with your surgeon about the impact of anesthesia. It's great while you're under and takes a long time to emerge from that experience alone.
