10 weeks post op here, and trust me when I say I know what you're feeling. The day before is probably the worst as you know its going to happen, and you want it to, but man the nerves really kick in and it is pretty stressful.

Trust me when I say it wasn't near as bad as I had anticipated. The first couple weeks are the worst and then it gets soooo much better! You will do fine. You've done the research, and you are prepared. The results will hopefully change your life in a much more positive way. Take heart in knowing that this surgery is performed hundreds of times a day and that you are in very good hands in Boston!

Soon you will be a member of the post surgery club, which is actually getting to be pretty big these days! Do what you can to try and relax. We will be sending well wishes your way tomorrow for a uneventful surgery, and a quick recovery! Good luck to you!
