I suggest you seek out an expert opinion from a top authority such as the docs in Stanford/Palo Alto, and whatever they tell you - follow it.

Personally, I would not trust any of the soft tissue surgeries to "cure" your snoring as they are unpredictable, and in some cases, can cause trouble such as narrowing of the airway and exaserbation of sleep apnea.
