I don't generally like Micheal Moore's cinematic style...I think that while very entertaining, his scripts and movies sacrifice balanced and accurate presentations to prove his thesis...and therefore amounts to nothing better than sensationalist propaganda (not specifically referring to Sicko, but most of his films).

That disclaimer aside, I'll add one further...I'm not a conservative by any nature...

But the points you present are extremely valid !

In my personal dealings with insurance companies, I have found them to be at best disingenuous and NOT working in my best interest at all.

When I approached them, I knew it was going to be an adversrial relationship...and a war of attrition. My hunch was that they would only reward those who were the most persistent in their appeals...rather than those who were actually deserving of claims that were legitimate and contractual. With this cynical view of them...I won my appeals after 11 months.

Widespread reform needs to occur in the insurance-healthcare industry. That is clear to me as well !!!
