Congratulations on hitting a milestone in the long journey.

As Anne said, you *might* have to go through another fight afterwards to actually get everyone paid. (It took me 6 months, and Seattle Bill recently said it took 11 motnhs for him to get everything settled.) Having written authorization is your ace in the hole that will enable you to collect on exactly what you have been promised.

One big difference - it's a LOT easier to persevere in such a struggle AFTER you have had surgery and you have more energy, spirit, enthusiasm and stamina - both as a result of better sleep and as a reaction to being done with surgery.

It's sort of like hiking with an 80 lb pack, and then taking it off - you feel so light and strong and capable of anything.
