Thanks for the advice - I just ordered my care package from Zip-n-squeeze. The hospital said they would send me home with some sort of jaw bra, but I also ordered the one from Zip-n-squeeze, just to be safe.

Regarding Seattlebill's recovery timeline: I've read it, and I'm glad that I did. I shared it with my surgeon; her view is that it is dangerous for me to get into the mindset that there will be a certain number of recovery phases, and that I will necessarily go through each phase at a certain time. She actually thought it could be detrimental to my recovery (she is a believer in mind over body, I suppose). So I am going to take my surgeon's advice and I won't be posting the recovery timeline on my fridge. But I will be keeping the basic concepts in my head, and remembering that the road to recovery is a long one, and that it may take several weeks before I start feeling any better, OR I could be feeling better within days. The key is to stay optimistic!

Jeremy
