I've been watching this thread since I live in MN and am still trying to resolve my apnea.

One question I've got is why is it important to find a MMA surgeon who specifically deals with apnea? Isn't it just a matter of pulling the jaws forward the maximum and getting things straight?

We've got a clinic in town that does MMA (mostly on accident victims). I think he said that do 20+ a year.

The idea of having to fly across the country and then make your way back right after such intensive surgery seems like a real chore.
