After discharge you should neither drive or walk on your own. You could pass out or lose balance easily. Not only could this be dangerous for you but anyone else driving on the road.

The fatigue is FAR too great to consider this.

As far as lifting 15 pounds, I'd say no to that as well. With all the areas in your jaw and mouth that are healing, you risk popping something. Most surgeons advise against anything that will unduly raise blood pressure.

Unless you're Superman behind that handle (not likely with the effects of apnea) you would need to get some assistance for the first week - in transportation from the hospital, and then in feeding the animals.

After a week, it *might* be an acceptable idea with a surgeon's supervision and instructions. Before then, not a chance!
