Bobby,
Those are very good results. A great improvement and a great success. Congratulations.
I think you are wise not to persue any more surgeries for the time being.
Dr. William Dement wrote in the promise of sleep that when a person's AHI is above five, that there is a benefit in treating OSA. Nevertheless, Dement conceded that many of his colleagues would disagree what treatment would be necessary for mild OSA. In my case, I expect that I will likely get a result similar to yours (ie. an extremely significant improvement, by possibly higher than five). If it happens I will retry CPAP. I think that it may be that CPAP would work better now than it did before our MMAs. I remember that you had difficuly with CPAP. If you can make use of CPAP, then why not try it again to bridge the gap. Of course, the gap is much smaller than it was. Your airway is much wider now and much less prone to collapse. These might be variables that would make your experience better.
I also hope that you will write in your blog about your good results. Many people are fighting a war against OSA and are seeking information that could help them. I think that your resutls are very encouragaing.
Once again congratulations.
