Excellent post. It sounds like you are progressing well through the first (and hardest) stage of recovery. Remember that it may be a year until you feel 100% recovered.

Tylenol didn't work for me at night either. I figured it was more important to get restful sleep than worry about the continued painkiller issue.

Nasal issues seem to be fairly common, although not with everyone. It may take another month or two to settle down. The nasal area is often "pulled" along with the maxilla. This can cause changes in airflow and drainage.

Your ten minute walk to work will probably do wonders for building up your stamina. As you have seen, you just need to be careful of overdoing it or you will pay later!

You've just made a wise investment into your future health - something you will benefit from for the rest of your life. Congratulations!
