I had a UP3 and tongue somno a couple of years ago. My uvula is completely gone. For a while I could sort of feel something but that sensation has disappeared completely.

It's hard to seal my throat now and sometimes things go down the wrong pipe. Even swallowing saliva can be a problem if I do it wrong.

I've never had a problem with things going up my nose other than soda pop fumes.

I hope it solves your problem.
