I had mine done almost three years ago - and posted about it EXTENSIVELY. So did SeattleBill. And many others since.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. If you've read through the last year's worth (and more) of posts, you will see what you need to have ready as far as food, entertainment, help from others, medicines, yada yada yada. If this is what you want, go get it - it's there for the taking!
If you want to know "what would I do during the last week if I already knew what it would be like post-surgery" then:
Eat all the chewy, crunchy foods you can. They are going to be off the menu for many months.
Do anything involving lots of physical exertion. This will also be off the table for a long time.
Throw a party. You won't want to socialize a lot for quite some time.
