So Captin, you know what I mean by the cartoonish appearance. I am 4 months out from my surgery, I pretty much think this is my final appearance. Any change now will be very minor. With the excellent sleep, and most recently the better control of my residual severe pain, I couldn't care less about what I look like. I am out there enjoying life for the first time in years. I am also lucky to be married to the same woman for nearly 28 years, she is equally as happy about the positive changes in me and can (somehow) see beyond just my physical appearance.
