Yes, my sleep architecture improved after MMA. Before, I spent almost no time in REM sleep or Stage 3/4 sleep. After, all of these increased, although Stage 1 and 2 sleep still are dominant (the stages aren't meant to be strictly equal).

Why is this? What I've read indicates that interruptions keep one from moving into successive stages, so every time you have an apnea, it "resets" your sleep system.
