I had UP3, palate trimming, uvula removal and tongue somnoplasty a few years ago. I also use a dental appliance.

Prior to that surgery I had 3 turbinate somno's, and turbinate reduction.

After the UP3+ surgery my apnea improved noticably but has since creeped back. I'm now back up to 30 per hour from a low of 15. I think it's because the soft tissue is continuing to relax and/or expand.

I was completely off pain meds in a week after the UP3+ surgery and back to work without any problems but I heal faster than most people.
