True, and true. However, I've had narcotics and muscle relaxants for a transient back problem...after my MMA/GA. I didn't snore. And, lol, my ETOH consumption amounts to 2 glasses (or so) of my favorite wines. Be it 1 glass , or 4 glasses...I snore after the wine. (oh, and not before driving, nor bed).

So, I'm sticking with "2 carbon chain" theory of ETOH consumption, rather than the muscle relaxation effect. Biochemically, carbs ultimately translate to CO2. Inability to clear "extra" CO2 may ultimately cause more snoring and apnea.
