Well...here goes...

While different chemical and herbal extracts may help OSA, sleep disordered breathing, sleep disturbances, etc... these results are far too prelimnary for conclusions to be made either way.

It can't be discounted because someday they may lead to more concentrated extracts that can be made into a pharmaceutical offering that will help someone at some level. However, no one should view this as a "cure"...only as interesting prelimnary research that might pay off at some far later date in the future.

As soon as I heard this reported in the local lay media, I was afraid that people would start drinking green tea (not a bad thing) and discarding their CPAP machines. And, that is the wrong message !
