Im a 21 yr old female (150lbs, 5'10) who underwent MMA in dec 2007. In april of this year, I had the plates around my sinus's removed due to chronic sinusitis (dr's thought the plates were infected) I just went back to the doctor yesterday to find that my upper jaw is out of place and he will need to go back in and re-plate and set my upper jaw. I kind of thought this had happened because my perfect bite has become an underbite (due to the upper jaw receding/moving back).

My surgeon wants to fix this asap, however I cant do another surgery and have another six weeks of liquid diet, its insane. How long in your opinion can I go on avoiding this surgery i mean either way if I wait he's going to go in and re-set it with plates so does it really matter. Also I still have sleep apnea after this surgery so my priorites right now is seeing another surgeon will try the UPPP/tongue reduction so if I get this jaw problem fixed I won't be seeing that uppp surgery for quite some time. Just trying to prioritize here....ANY input at all would be appriciated, or advice, whatever you have I'll take it!
