sturmer-

Some posts do make it sound like a cakewalk. For the majority of us, it is not.

Some people tend to minimize, maybe because if they think about how frustrating things are, they'll get more frustrated. Others like to talk about the recovery issues since it makes them feel better.

You are probably by now feeling somewhat better (except for the panic and BP). You might want to post about changes - you might feel better and start seeing that there is SOME progression - plus, it could help someone else out.

You might need to lower your expectations on the real timeline. While most of us feel a lot better by week three, life is not normal yet. Even at six-eight weeks when you can eat most things again, life is not normal (just MORE normal). # months out, you are still feeling effects, but the positives are probably drowning out the negatives by that point.

It's a long, long road - but every day, every step, you will feel a little better. Until one day you'll realize "I haven't thought about my MMA for awhile!"
