Have you noticed any improvements whatsoever during the 11 months? Like regaining some sensations at least for your lips, etc? Or has everything been numb like it was from day one? I had the MMA over 3 years ago. The first year the sensations returned to my lips, the second year much of the sensations returned to my teeth (both upper and lower) and to my gums. The third year, saw some more improvements where I'm at the point where I only feel this "weirdness", or some tightness, around my gumlines. After 3 years I would say much of the numbness to my teeth and gums are gone. But it's definitely not 100% like it was before the surgery.

Bottomline, this 'nerve healing' process is a r-e-a-l-l-y slow process.
