Sorry to hear that your numbness may be permanent. The thing is, there are trade-offs. The question is whether the trade-off of permanent numbness is adequate compensation for the improvement of going from severe to mild apnea. I would like to ask you a question: Knowing what you know now about the outcome (downgraded apnea from severe to mild, possibly permanent numbness), if you could, would you go back in time to before your MMA? I think that is the real question.
Do you feel unsatisfied with the treatment that you got as a result of the HMO? I hear many bad things about HMOs. Michael Moore has recently revealed the inner workings of these Health Care for Profit organizations. Interesting point, I understand that there is going to be a class action suit coming from many people against HMOs on account of HMOs having set rejection rates. When this happens, all hell is going to break loose The HMOs stock holders are going to start dumping their shares and the values will plummet. Watch what will happen. This is coming down the pipe. You heard it here first.
Take care.
