Well. I think going from severe to mild apnea is a big improvement. The only thing that I am troubled with is that our company changed to a PPO
plan 6 months after I did my surgery. However, I had no idea they were going to do that. Otherwise I would have waited.I live in the bay area and the best surgeons in the world are only a few miles from me, but I could no see them because of my insurance.
I talked to Cupertino Joe once and he said that he wanted to see the best surgeon to do his surgery, because he didn't want to second guess himslef later on. I know what he meant by that now. Having said that permanenet numbness is a side effect of this surgery. It does not necessary mean that the doctors have done anything wrong.Beside that doctors are not always right.I am just going to wait and see what happens and hope for the best.
