Yes, I am 5 months post-MMA and I still have to use CPAP. I am seeing several doctors to determine whether there is a central apnea component, or whether there is an additional obstruction (such as soft palate or epiglottis) that the MMA did not address.

I would definitely still do the MMA if given the choice today. It opened up a lot of space at the base of my tongue that was very likely obstructing before surgery.
