I am 1 month and a few days post op and since the surgery
I have had varying severity of tightness/pressure in my upper
jaw. After my archbars were removed it seems to be more severe and it
comes and goes. I would describe the sensation of someone tring to move or pry my upper jaw with pliers. Oddly the pain level never gets above a 3 or so. I'm wondering if anyone else is or has experienced this? My bite looks feels good. I'm wondering if this is just a normal part of healing process. Also I was a night teeth grinder and jaw clencher and I'm wondering if that's causing my discomfort.

I guess my biggest question is if this is a part of the healing process 1
month post op. Anyone else experience this? I was advised to chew and talk less and try my neurontin(I'm currently taking nothing). Sometimes the feeling is overwhelming but it ebbs and flows.

Thanks for any help/info
