At this early stage in your recovery you are still at a point where so many changes are yet to come. I do remember the feeling you are describing, not quite as if it were yesterday; and reading your post brought it all back. I am post MMA twelve months, and there is still healing taking place. Even I am in amazement. My doctor took a fairly relaxed approach with me once my arch bars were removed. His overall recommendation was not to overdo with eating, that I would learn quickly what overdoing it meant, and that I should go easy if I were uncomfortable. It proved to be very sound advice.
