On the chin issue. . . I would not let "fear of jutting chin" be a barrier to having an MMA if that's what would ultimately help your sleep apnea. Of course, no one wants the planet of the apes look; and neither did I. I, too, did not have a "recessed chin" and was advanced 12mm which is a pretty good projection for a woman. Both my surgeon and I were on the same page when it came to treating my sleep apnea and maintaining an agreed upon standard for aesthetics.
