I agree... generally, for me, the benefits FAR outweigh the negatives.

I also, have retained small areas of numbness. And, while I believe my surgeon was completely top notch, I too think that the pre-op discussion of the possibility of areas of facial numbness have been downplayed by members of the surgical community. Of course, if this potential consequence were over-stated, how many of us would have had second thoughts about getting our MMAs and not seen the positive results ?
