Thank you everyone for your replies and advice! I have decided against the UPPP mainly since it just sounds awful and the idea of having the problems come back after a few years doesn't sound fun. I am going to ask about the tonsils and deviated septum. I'm hoping that once I start using CPAP that the weight will come off easier. (On week 7 of weight watchers, only 3 lbs - and yes I'm trying) Up until last year, exercise was easy for me - I may not have done it every day, but getting into a routine wasn't a problem. Now I have a lot of trouble breathing when I exercise - got tested for asthma, nada. I even had a stress test, all normal. I stick to mainly bike riding now. I go about 15-25 miles about 1-3x a week.

Sorry, guess I'm still in defense mode for trying to explain my weight... :(
