Thanks so much for your response. I did my research pretty carefully, but there is one point on which I would like to hear more. Am I correct in assuming that Whole in the Throat gang did not have MMAs? In the decision making tree with which we all struggle I was initially faced with an acknowledgment that I had chosen to go for a "big guns" surgery with an MMA over any soft tissue work. There is still some controversy in the medical community and the general populus about this approach. I would imagine that opting for a tracheostomy might fall victim to some of the same conflict, no matter that, when all is said and done, a 100% success rate is hard to argue. So, where did MMA factor in for your exclusive club?
