Would that there were really a one shot deal for severe sleep apnea with no physical nor emotional consequence. From what I understand from my surgeon the fundamental issue is to get that airway open. 90% of MMA veterans appear to have benefited from the the jaw advancement (please don't hold me to that figure because who the heck knows exactly what that statement means come down to it). That's not the same as saying it is a 100% cure. There can be no argument that trachs remain at the top. I certainly am one who has not had just one procedure to fight this disorder.
