First I would like to applaud and nod in admiration to all of you who have been through a UPPP. I am impressed because this procedure, as I as I'm concerned, HURT LIKE *&%@##! And I remind myself that this lift a la Dr. KL is no where near as invasive or aggressive as the UPPP. My uvula is still in tact with all of the tissue removed and stitched up around it. There really is quite a lift. For a while there my throat looked like Georgia O'Keefe renders a pizza top.

Granted, the recovery (and I'm still in it) would have been smoother had I not been allergic to both Vicodin and Oxycodone. I still feel a little poisoned and want you to know that my face blew up bigger than when I had my MMA. At Dr. KL's recommendation I will do some follow-up with an allergist. Whew!!
