Yes, I have seen this advertisement on TV and
I "googled" it to read-up.
It's basically a top and bottom molded appliance (that attaches and detaches together) that if fitted correctly, keeps your lower jaw "jutted" out when you sleep, using the upper-jaw's molded piece to keep it all in place and to help create a better airway. Unfortunately, it does nothing for those of us who's tongue was a big contributor to our apnea issues

It *seems* like a possibly sensible solution for some, but the web site also warns (and offers a full refund for) people who experience TMJ/TMD issues because of it.
However, I can't help but think that since it's not natural to sleep with our lower jaw "jutting out" for all that time, that the resistance could eventually cause orthadontic issues and possible mis-alignment of your bite.
Having had what I consider a very successful MMA/GA, I would have no reason to try one of these, but I might have, had I seen this months ago. (i.e. 2 payments of $29.95 are substantially less that the cost of an MMA/GA!!:-)
