Thank you for your kind words; and yes, I'm in the process of turning the corner. I knew that I was allergic to codeine based on a full body experience with hives. My understanding was that I could take the synthetic forms of codeine--vicodin, hycept, and oxycodone. Obviously, that has not been the case; so that's why an evaluation with an allergist is prudent.
