First of all, thanks a lot for the informatin shared in this forum. I knew most of the details before the surgery. Dr KL is my doctor, whom was also introduced from the forum. Here are the brief story of my 2 week experience:

1. My MMA+GA lasted 3 hr and 10 min, shorter than it supposed to be (4-5 hours).
2. Amazingly, I never feel pain since the surgery. All the nurses kept to ask me if I need pain med and warned me not to wait until it developed to much. One of the nurses said I was impressed him for just having this kind of dace surgery. But Dr KL seemed not that surprised.
3. I dont feel any numb on any part of my face, at least no strange feelings.
4.The ruber bands have borthed me a lot. It was difficaut to get mucus out. Now it is getting better since the mucus is not that viscous and much less, and I can open my mouth wider after having 1 ruber band removed on each side.
5. I know it maybe too early to pass judge about the effective for sleep. I do feel much better, in comparison with pre-opt with CPAP. I did notice I was awaken by sth at my back throat to catch breath. My wife said I snored one time and end up with coughing. The bottom line is I do feel better.
