pulse oximeter, Please Help.

I have been unsuccessful with using CPAP and dental appliance. My apnea is barely even moderate at 14 episodes an hour but the problem is my oxygen levels dropped down to low 60's in sleep study. I have neurological problems and brain lesions that may be related to the apnea. I was thinking of getting a pulse oximeter with alarm that would wake me if my oxygen levels went below something like 80. I have other sleep problems also and get very little sleep but I do just fine on a few hours a night. I have given up on improving my sleep and really just want to stop further brain damage.

What do you think of this idea and where can a buy one and which one do you suggest.
