Nope, I sleep the same way I always have, however I feel like it at the time and it depends on how much room my Jack Russells leave me after they settle down in my bed.

Forgot to tell you I do sleep on a timed bi pap with the hose attached to my trach tube. Plastic to plastic so I do not have any of the common pap problems I read about here.

I have no problems due to the trach, just a few more minutes each day to care for it and normal exceptions as swimming and such which I do not attempt any longer.

The transition to the trach was just as easy and normal as could be, but it may not be as that for everyone.I always say that any surgery should be the last resort but the trach is the easiest and best for me and it can be reversed at any time.

Please ask if you have any questions, I would be happy to share my experiences with you.
