In the dark ages my HMO had no surgeons doing MMAs.

I asked and was referred to a MMA surgeon with a good reputation. I depended on the doctor and HMO to communicate, but I was never called back. (My fault for not bugging them.) For family reasons I changed HMO and this HMO had a doctor with experience. It turned out that he did not have that much experience.

I now suspect that the previous HMO and doctor couldn't agree on fees and I was ignored.

Please be careful.
