I am a little more than 3 months post MMA and I am having a pretty rough time with sleep. I think I am still having a couple of apneas now and then, but I think I may be having some withdrawal symptoms. The tough thing is that it's hard to tell what's causing what. I have been on temazapam for a total of about 10 months now. From what I read online, it may or may not cause some serious withdrawal symptoms. It's so difficult to sort through the info out there because marketing dollars seem to influence the severity of symptoms, depending on whether you promote use of temazapam or are promoting products to help reduce symptoms. Has anyone taken these drugs for any period of time and dealt with withdrawal? I was prescribed temazapam to help me sleep with CPAP, but now I'm trying to get off the drugs. I have a follow up appt in October with the sleep doc, but I'm starting a reduction process now.
The symptoms I may or may not be having ;) are, sweats, sleep starts, trouble staying asleep, headaches, daytime drowsiness, slightly blurred vision and lack of energy. These are the same symptoms that sleep apnea cause, so it's difficult to know what is causing what. If you have taken benzodiazapines like temazapam, I'd be interested in hearing your experiences with them. Thanks
