Surgery notes; diff 4 yours?

I was told these facts about surgery today:

* surgery for 7 hours
* Jaw would only be wired shut during the surgery w/ no bands afterwards
* 2-3 days in ICU
* 2-3 days in hospital after ICU
* Bone graft from skull for jaw
* Liquid/soft diet for 2-1/2 months

Any thoughts from the MMA veterans on these points?
