Actually your questions bring alot to light.

I have seen both doctors (two different doctors performed the surgeries at the same time.) The MMA doctor did not give a reason as to why but he did show me xrays that showed my airway had opened up. The other doctor has said the same thing and I did see the TV screen when he put the camera through my nose before and after the surgeries. I have been to another doctor that is not associated with either of the two that performed the surgeries on me and he has said the same thing ... that my tongue is too large.

Most of my event are obstructive.

I have not had any other issues checked out other than a blood sample from my family doctor that came up clean. I am pretty sure that it is my tongue or sometthing to do with my throat as I do have slight difficulty swallowing now.

I am not sure if the surgeries resulted in my tongue increasing in size but I do not ever remember having difficulty swallowing during the time that I am awake.

Im really unsure of where to go from here. I am going back to see the UP3 doctor again in about a week to talk about what i think he said was coblation on my tongue. This came about thru some research of my own on the internet about enlarge tongue and sleep apnea. I had found something about somnoplasty on the base of the tongue and wanted to talk to him about it.
