You hit it right on the money !

It's too easy to get lost in the particulars and minutia (sp?) of one technique vs another. They all seem to work well with good results (with respect to stabilization and anatomic fixation). When people have a problem, it seems to be related to an individualized issue (ie...weak bone structure, osteoporosis, etc...) rather than a technique.

So...bottomline is exactly as RA stated. Want another surgeon...yes or no ? Keep and trust your surgeon... then ask him benign straight-forward questions about things you're concerned about. Most guys will give you a good answer.
