Hi buckthorn,

I really hope we both find a good solution.

Did you read dirtywater's post?

I did some research on the complex apnea stuff. I think that may be our issue.

With that I think I'm going to try a resmed vpap machine, which is design to resolve this. I found some studies that say that its working well for about 80% of people who cpap didn't work.

the complex apnea is basically the pressure to resolve the obstructive apneas, is causing central apneas. So we can't win. you either have one or the other or some of both.

But an MMA would probably take care of it since it would more then likely remove the need for the cpap (and its pressure), thereby removing the cause of the central events too.

if the vpap doesn't pan out, then I suspect an MMA will be in my not to distant future.

I hope we both find the answer. Keep us updated.
If you find something, I'd sure like to know.

Thanks.
