How big are the pills? Assuming that your jaw will be banded shut, it's pretty tough to separate the teeth far enough to slip a pill through. On top of that, for the first few days I found that my swallowing mechanics were really weak due to a combination of numbness and soreness. Sound like you'll need to talk to your surgeon to come up with some sort of strategy.
