Does MMA treat PLMD?

PLMD, or periodic limb movement disorder, is a close relative of RLS. Does anyone have clinical results showing post-MMA that PLMD occurences declined?

My doc says usually treating the OSA can potentially treat the related disorders (ie. PLMD, RLS). I'm 6-wks post-op, and don't have my follow-up study for another. I"m sleeping better, but am also anxious to note any improvements in my PLMD, which is considered severe. I'm in a place where I don't know if my OSA or PLMD was making me more tired; apples to oranges?
