Would this surgeon pass the vetting

This surgeon for MMA writes papers on sleep apnea MMA. However, he said I could have MMA in 2 weeks or about one time a week after that. That's seem like he is not in demand. He is also the head of a Oral and Maxifacial School. But his papers show real good success with MMA for Sleep Apnea surgery. He is not in a big City, however it is not small either. He has been doing sleep apnea MMA for about 20 years. He is well know by Oral Surgeons and I was told by one Oral surgeon that he is the one they most follow. He lectures on sleep apnea and MMA.
