Just to clarify, I am not advocating any particular diet or
even this guy's ideas about weight loss (and some other things
mentioned in the article), I'm just pointing out that apnea
is getting more respect these days as an important health issue.

In this article he identified apnea as one of the consequences
of weight gain right along with cholesterol and blood sugar.
He then mentions apnea as one of the triggers that scared him
into doing something. Then later he mentions that his apnea
was gone after the weight loss, right along with improved Cholesterol.

Certainly anecdotal, but I'm happy to see the condition of apnea becoming mainstream.
