Hi Ya'll:

Feel like I have found a good O and M surgeon. Dr. J.G. here in houston and he is the Dept. Chair for the o and m dept. at Methodist. Am using Dr. M.T. for my ent who is an assc. of Dr. J.G.'s. Don't know how much info. I gave last time but think I forgot to mention that I am not Bi-pap compatible. 409 apneas a night. As of now the plan is for a sleep endoscopy to determine exactly where the obstrucitons are, then a sugical assisted palatal expansion with sarpe. Dr. J.G. said I could opt for a hyoid suspension, BTR and a Z palatopalsty. (oh yeah and braces too)then about a year after the braces a MMA/GA. Said maybe I could get some relief from the first set of the procedures so while I am waiting for the bite to get right I might sleep better. He also said my oxygen desaturation is low but I can't remember the #'s. Dos anybody know what a Z palatopalsty is? Hope I am making sense I am really tired today. Thanks to everybody and especially to those of you that continue to help even though you have resolved your osa. Merry Christmas to all. Silvergirl
