Hi Ya'll:

Is a Z Palatoplasty the same thing as a UPPP? My O and M said this procedure does not leave a bunch of raw tissue like the UPPP so the pain is not as bad? Anybody have this procedure? If so, what is the pain like on a 1-10? Could you eat? How long was the recovery period?
